Some varieties have silver leaves, while others have green or red leaves. Tillandsias prefer bright, indirect light. Place them near an east or west-facing window where they will receive filtered light. Avoid direct sunlight, as this can burn the leaves. Tillandsias need regular, but not excessive, watering. The recommended watering method is to soak them in water for 15 to 20 minutes, once a week. After soaking, gently shake the plants to remove excess water that may collect between the leaves.
