Comfortable and beautifully designed vintage Ekornes Stressless recliner and matching ottoman in black leather, made in Norway. Likely dating to the 1980s, the chair features the sleek Scandinavian modern styling Stressless became known for, with a sculptural black metal frame, swivel base, adjustable reclining function, and matching ottoman. The soft black leather is in really great shape and remains supple and comfortable. The slimmer profile and minimalist frame design give the chair a more refined and architectural appearance than many larger overstuffed recliners from the period. An excellent reading or lounge chair equally suited for modern, contemporary, or Scandinavian interiors.

Chair measures 33.5” wide x 29.5” deep x 28.5” tall with a seat height of 15”. Seat measures 23” wide x 20” deep.

Very good vintage condition with light expected wear from age and use. Leather remains soft and presents beautifully with attractive natural creasing and minor surface wear throughout.
