The On The Go Spot Treatment is a dermatologically proven and used method of clearing skin and preventing breakouts before they occur.

You may have heard of UV acne treatments in the past, however these old methods increase the likelihood of cancer and at times damage the skin. 

This new method of skin treatment uses the wavelengths found in the special blue and red lights emitted from the On The Go Treatment to prevent and / or remove those annoying last minute spots. 

WHY IT WORKS 

Recent research has found that wavelengths of blue and red lights kills acne-causing bacteria without damaging the skin. 

The blue light removes the acne-causing bacteria known as Propionibacterium acnes, or P acnes, which can cause inflammation. P acnes is sensitive to blue light. Using the blue light, eliminates the bacteria found in the oil glands in the skin. The added presence of infrared light (heat) in the home device causes the oil glands to shrink in size. The result is less oil in the skin and less bacteria, leading to the resolution of acne in the treated areas.

The red light is a widely used therapeutic technique typically used for treatment of wrinkles, scars and persistent wounds. In this case the wavelengths of the red light allow the skin rejuvenate immediately after the acne causing bacteria is immobilised by the blue light wavelengths. 

HOW TO USE 

1. Before using the treatment ensure the device is working with the battery placed within the device (due to shipping restrictions we cannot ship the products with batteries included) 
2. Wash and dry the treatment area before lightly placing the operating device over the subject area. We recommend that you position the light over the affected area before holding the on button (waiting for a single beep) for the light to target over the surface.  
3. The treatment will end after two minutes, in which case the device will beep twice and switch off automatically.
4. For optimal results, we recommend that you repeat the process three times in a day over the affected area.  

WARNING 

The device has not been tested on women who are nursing or are pregnant. We do not believe the light emitted from the device will have adverse effect on the baby, however use under such circumstances if up to the user. It is recommended that you consult with a dermatologist if your have severe acne.
