✅ Approved Cleaning Solutions

Use liquid, low-foam carpet extractor detergents that are:

• Specifically labeled for carpet extractors / hot water extraction
• Neutral to mildly alkaline (recommended pH range: 7–9)
• Hot-water compatible
• Fully water-soluble and non-corrosive

These solutions are safe for the SM18H pump, heater, seals, hoses, and vacuum system.

❌ Do NOT Use the Following

The following products may damage the machine and will void the warranty:

• High-foam detergents (dish soap, laundry detergent)
• Bleach, chlorine, ammonia, solvents, or solvent-based cleaners
• Strong acidic or highly alkaline chemicals
• Powdered, gel, or thick detergents that may clog internal lines
• Products not labeled for extractor use

⚠️ Important Usage Instructions

• Always follow the detergent manufacturer’s dilution ratio
  Over-concentrated solutions can cause excessive foam, pump damage, and heater failure.
• Use clean water only in the solution tank.
• If foaming occurs, add a defoamer to the recovery tank only
  (Never add defoamer to the solution tank.)
• When using the heated function, confirm the solution is approved for hot water use.

🔧 After-Use Maintenance

• Flush the solution system with clean water after each workday, especially when using heat.
• Empty and rinse the recovery tank daily.
• Clean filters and inspect hoses regularly to maintain proper suction and flow.
