From the East Bay To My Wrist

I grew up in the East Bay hills, where the mornings had a rhythm of their own. Before the world stirred too much, I would walk to school down our hill and see the Golden Gate Bridge.

Not every day, of course. Some mornings, the fog hung low and the bridge disappeared completely. But on clear days, which were always cold (cold and clear was a "thing") there it was. Just to the right of the city and beyond the water, the red towers stood proud, like guardians watching over the Bay. Seeing it never got old. It didn’t matter how many times I saw it, that first glimpse, often as the sun was rising, always felt like a gift.

That view and structure became a part of me. It was more than just a landmark. It stood for access, possibility, strength and grace. Even as a kid, I felt the quiet power of it - how it connected Marin and gave millions of people access to all of that vibrant energy, good food and things to do. As I grew up, I started to see how much of myself had been quietly shaped by its presence. "Bridges" have been a popular metaphor my whole life.

Just recently, that memory came rushing back when I set out to handcraft a watch of the bridge. I didn’t just want to make something beautiful. I wanted to make something that had a story and held meaning. A piece of time you could wear that, like the bridge, was anchored in place but also enabled a gorgeous view (of your wrist) that could take your breath away.

Every curve and contour of this watch is inspired by the Golden Gate Bridge. The structure, the lines, the strength - it's all there. But it’s not just a watch, it's also a piece of my childhood. A tribute to the view that shaped my mornings and my mindset. This is nostalgia, time, and identity just waiting for you to glance at your wrist, again and again.

At the heart of the watch lies a Swiss automatic movement, celebrated for its reliability and elegance. The dial, a true work of art, is meticulously handcrafted with delicate pieces of abalone shell to reflect the sweeping lines and rust-red hue of the bridge set within a blue pearly iridescent sky. By layering and engraving subtle details, we captured the essence of San Francisco’s most enduring landmark.

Every watch dial is crafted by hand, one at a time. The watch is then assembled and regulated in-house by Celeste herself, ensuring each timepiece reflects her meticulous attention to detail, deep-rooted passion for horology, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity. The case is offered in two sizes — 42mm and 38mm — both crafted from 316L stainless steel with a sapphire crystal on the front and backside exhibition case, for clarity and protection.

Refined and profoundly symbolic, the Golden Gate Bridge is more than a timepiece — it’s a tribute to design, freedom, and the pursuit of excellence.
