UBÆNK is a stylish and elegant bench that fits into most Nordic homes. The bench was designed in 2006 by Tom Stepp as wellness furniture for spa and sauna areas, and it is therefore perfect if you dream of your very own wellness area. Be aware, however, that today it is made from more sustainable materials, and therefore cannot withstand direct contact with the bathing water. But UBÄNK's use also far from ends in the bathroom.

Use it in the entrance hall when you put on shoes or in the bedroom or in your walk-in closet as the perfect piece of dressing furniture. UBENK can even function as an extra seat at the dining table, or as a coffee table, side table or bedside table - the possibilities are many!

Tom Stepp, who is the designer behind the multifunctional UBÆNK, is one of the most recognized Danish designers who has won several awards over time for his strong and functional craftsmanship.

A bench made of sustainable materials

UBÆNK is available in strained oak veneer from FSC®-certified forests (FSC® N002763), in black-painted or matte-lacquered natural oak. When you choose FSC, you help take care of our world. It is your guarantee that the wood comes from responsible forestry, where the people and animals that live in and around the forests are also taken care of. The sustainable veneer is a very strong material, so despite the bench's flimsy appearance, it can actually support the weight of a fully grown person. Once it's in your home, you can't do without it again!
