The Muramasa is a highly efficient yet comfortable safety razor that allows the user to choose their preferred shave setting (smooth or aggressive) by simply turning the razor dial. Due to its fine-tuning, adjustable mechanism and superior quality, it provides an adaptable shave making it suitable for wet shaving novices and experts alike. Simply turn the dial from level 1, the most mild setting, to gradually increase blade gap and blade exposure, making for a more aggressive shave. The Muramasa is made entirely in Portugal and CNC machined from solid, high-grade stainless steel to ensure maximum performance and longevity. The design of the Muramasa was thought of as a unified entity and not a raw mechanical assembly of different parts. The handle features a twisted dimple pattern that enlarges towards the head of the razor for a better grip while demonstrating the concept of an adjustable razor. The compact head design was developed to avoid blade chatter, cover blade tabs and make reaching anywhere on your face effortless. Each piece of this razor has been hand finished to remove any machining marks and then sandblasted to give the razor a beautifully soft gun-metal finish. The numbered piece on the Muramasa dial is inspired by the analog watch date window and is coated with dark PVD to allow a better glance at the number setting.
