Breitling Bentley Mark VI with reference P2636212 in stainless steel with blue round dial and silver batons for each hour. Each end has a scare luminous dot. The watch has two sub dials, seconds at 3 o’clock, hours at 9 o’clock and inner ring graduated up to 100. Window date at 6 o’clock below “Certified Chronometer”. On the outer dial comes a blue ring for chronograph seconds with a platinum bezel. The watch has hands with sword shape and good luminous. The hands for the chronograph have a stick shape. The watch has a screwed Breitling crown. The back case is in stainless steel with engraved outside “Breitling for Bentley – Special Edition – Stainless steel with platinum bezel – P26362 – 2121857”. The watch has an automatic movement with caliber 26B and 21 jewels. It is a stainless-steel bracelet with double clasp Breitling buckle. The watch comes with full set, including warranty, booklets, Attestation de chronometre and box. Three additional links. The watch fits a 7.50 inches wrist.
History
Leon Breitling started Breitling in 1884 with his own chronograph. In 1892, Leon built a watch manufacture called “G. Leon Breitling S.A., Montbrillant Watch Factory. In 1914, Gaston Breitling takes over the business and creates the “Vitesse” model. In 1932 Willy Breitling took over his father and creates the “Chronomat” in 1947 and then the “Navitimer” in 1952. In 1962, a Breitling chronograph was catapulted into the space at astronaut Scott Carpenter wrist. Then came the famous caliber 11 in 1969 called “Chronomatic” developed by Breitling and Heuer. The story of Breitling ended in 1979 before being revived by Ernest Schneider in 1982 and managed today by his son Theodore.
