BD Vacutainer® Urine Tubes (Microbiology)

The BD Vacutainer® urine tubes (microbiology) are provided with a stabiliser of boric acid, sodium borate and sodium format, which stabilises the samples for up to 48 hours without refrigeration. The sterile vacuum tubes for culture and sensitivity tests are used for the diagnosis of bacterial urinary tract infections. In combination with the BD Vacutainer® urine containers, the system ensures hygienic and closed urine transfer where the sample containers remain sealed. This effectively protects medical staff from contamination.

Please note that the BD Vacutainer® urine tubes (microbiology) are excluded from the right of return for hygienic reasons.
