The 2.5 ring eggbutt bit is a milder version of a 3-ring (Pessoa) bit. This cheekpiece allows leverage action to be created. The lower the reins are attached, the stronger the effect of the bit becomes. It is an ideal bit for horses that become very strong on course, lean on the bit, or pull through the rider’s hand. The eggbutt rings are fixed and cannot move freely, resulting in more direct rein aids.

The Inno Sense Flexi Soft bits are made from elastic synthetic material and are highly flexible, making the bit very horse-friendly. Despite the flexibility, the Inno Sense Flexi Soft bit remains very solid thanks to its flexible stainless steel core.

Bits from the Inno Sense collection can be used for all horses but are particularly suitable for young horses and horses with sensitive mouths. The synthetic material used is FDA-approved, meaning it is non-toxic and free from plasticizers. Horses ridden with an Inno Sense mouthpiece easily follow the rider’s hand and readily accept the bit. The Inno Sense Flexi Soft is less suitable for very strong horses.
