Features:

Application - Monophase Technique:

• The Kerr Volume Mixer or Kerr Silicone Gun system is used for mixing.
• A disposable wash (secondary impression material) is attached to the syringe and is prepared for use.
• The first material is applied to the impression tray using the automatic mixer.
• The second material is applied to the prepared area, starting at the margins of the teeth, using the syringe system.
• The first material already in the tray is then placed into the mouth.
• After the material sets, the impression is removed in a single step.
• Certain substances like sulfur, aluminum chloride, and nitrogen compounds can interfere with the setting time of vinyl polysiloxanes. If retraction cords containing ferric sulfate are used, the area should be rinsed thoroughly with water afterward.
• For machine-mixed stone models, impressions should be poured after 20 minutes. If hand-mixing is used, the impression should be poured after 1 hour.
