The Keauhou Beach Hotel opened in 1970 on the historic Kona Coast of Hawaii and became a beloved oceanfront retreat surrounded by tidepools, heiau sites, and stunning views of Kahaluu Bay. For more than forty years it welcomed travelers with island hospitality until closing in 2012, when the property was set aside for cultural and educational use.
