Overview
The GBE-LR (airMAX GigaBeam Long‑Range) is an outdoor 60 GHz point‑to‑point wireless bridge designed for low‑interference, high‑capacity backhaul links. It features a high‑gain 60 GHz dish, an integrated 5 GHz backup radio and a 2.4 GHz management radio. Supplied with pole mount and 24 V Gigabit passive PoE injector.

• Primary 60 GHz radio with up to 2.16 GHz channel width for high‑capacity, low‑interference links (suitable for >1 Gbps aggregate throughput).
• Integrated 5 GHz backup/failover radio and 2.4 GHz management radio for resilient links and easy configuration.
• Very high antenna gain: 38 dBi (60 GHz) and 11 dBi (5 GHz) for extended range and reliable links.
• Includes 24 V, 0.5 A passive Gigabit PoE adapter; single Gigabit Ethernet port for data + PoE.
• Rugged outdoor enclosure (aluminium + UV‑stabilised polycarbonate), wide temperature range and high wind survivability.

Use cases: building‑to‑building links, remote site backhaul, carrier/ISP point‑to‑point connections where fibre is impractical.

Installation & compliance: Intended for line‑of‑sight (LoS) PtP links; Ubiquiti recommends installing in pairs for a complete link. Managed via UISP (web/mobile) with alignment and link‑test tools. Conforms to FCC, IC and CE standards; NDAA compliant. Check local regulations for 60 GHz and 5 GHz usage and obtain any necessary licences.
