Ethyway V2 Breathalyser

The delivery includes the testing device and  5 disposable mouthpieces with one-way valve, 2 AAA 1.5 V batteries, a soft case and a multilingual package insert– so you can get started right away.

The Ethyway V2 breathalyser provides a quick and precise measurement of the blood alcohol level through the patient's exhaled breath. The use of single-use mouthpieces makes the alcohol measurement particularly hygienic, preventing infection transmission. The internal memory of the Ethyway V2 stores the last 10 test results, which can be quickly retrieved later.. Calibration of the breathalyser is required at least every 12 months. 

The sensor is electrochemical and has a short measurement time, providing results in approximately 5 seconds. After conducting the alcohol test, the device takes less than 50 seconds to be ready for use again. Unlike a standard breathalyzer, the readings from exhaled air are displayed in mg/l rather than in promille. This value can be easily converted to promille by multiplying by 2. The alcohol tester measures 4.5 cm wide, 10.5 cm high, and 1.8 cm deep, making it convenient to carry. Its auto-shutdown feature after 15 seconds ensures extended battery life.

To ensure reliable test results with the Ethyway V2, measurements should be taken at least 20 minutes after the last alcohol intake and 5 minutes after consuming food, beverages, medications or cigarettes.
