Inspired by the architecture of her hometown of Copenhagen, Danish artist Natasja Lykke has created the serene composition The Arch 02. Working from a simple palate of neutral tones in acrylic paint, depth is created by the raw canvas backdrop which interplays with the painted elements to become an added material within the artists toolbox. Straight lines meet a single arched doorway, with a strong graphic interpretation of space that helps to create a sense of three-dimensionality with the work.
