I haven't much delved into world of hooked rugs, though I very often admire them. Two today, though--the other antique, text-based, and really quite a thing, but this one charmed me like a kid's crayon drawing: naive and improvisatory feeling, and a very homey one to come home to. I especially love all those kind of random bits of brown and black/white fabric, together making the center area feel rather like a walled garden, with one bright pink rose at its center. 1st half 20th c. I would guess.

23 5/8 x 37 1/2 and in very very good condition.
