The Nikon F60, known as the N60 in the United States, is a 35mm autofocus single-lens reflex (SLR) film camera introduced by Nikon in 1998 and produced until 2001. It succeeded the Nikon F50, targeting entry-level photographers seeking a balance between automation and manual control.

Key Features:

Lens Compatibility: Utilizes the Nikon F-mount, accommodating a wide range of Nikkor lenses, including both autofocus (AF) and manual focus (MF) options. However, autofocus is not supported with AF-S lenses, and pre-AI lenses are incompatible.

Autofocus System: Equipped with a multi-point autofocus system, offering three selectable focus points and modes such as single-servo AF and continuous-servo AF.

Metering System: Features Nikon’s 3D Matrix Metering, which evaluates the scene to determine optimal exposure settings. Additionally, center-weighted and spot metering options are available.

Exposure Modes: Provides Programmed Auto (P), Shutter-Priority (S), Aperture-Priority (A), and Manual (M) modes, along with several scene modes tailored for specific shooting situations.

Shutter Speed: Offers a range from 1/2000 second to 30 seconds, including a Bulb mode for extended exposures. The maximum flash sync speed is 1/125 second.

Built-in Flash: Includes a pop-up flash with multiple modes, such as red-eye reduction, slow sync, and rear curtain sync.

Film Handling: Features motorized film advance and rewind, with a continuous shooting speed of up to 1.7 frames per second.

Design: Constructed with a polycarbonate and metal body, available in “champagne silver” and black finishes. Notably, it lacks a depth-of-field preview and remote shutter release, features that were included in its successor, the F65.

Untested until I acquire the right batteries. There’s nothing indicating that it shouldn’t work, it’s in amazing condition.
