Navy blue velvet close hat from the 1950's. Styled to hug the crown with inward curving wired edges for security. Oval seamed crown has scalloped sides embellished with 4 velvet bows. On the front left is a large white silk rose. The flower is pinned on tightly so it could be replaced but removing it would most likely show indentations in the fabric.

Interior is lined with a stiffened fabric.

Inner circumference is 22 inches but there is flexibility due to the wired edging.

Excellent condition. The only thing I would mention is the velvet shows a bit of age as velvet always does.
