This large-sized OPEIA pendant from Berry’s Jewellers belongs to a celestial-inspired collection of handmade designs that celebrate our 125^th anniversary. Its mix of gemstones and diamonds echo the way in which moving comets leave a trail of shimmering light behind them as they glide through a rich blanket of black sky at night. The name Cassiopeia is taken from the constellation found in the Northern sky that was named after Queen Cassiopeia, mother of Andromeda. The negative inverted space inside this circular pendant also forms a five-point star shape – a nod to the five generations that have shaped the success of Berry’s Jewellers. The OPEIA large-sized pendant has been crafted from 18ct yellow gold and Features five round brilliant-cut ruby gemstones held inside claw settings. The ruby stones are followed by a line of graduating round brilliant-cut diamonds, whilst further round brilliant-cut diamonds can be seen on the 18-inch yellow gold chain, held inside smooth rub over settings. The rubies carefully chosen for this unique Berry’s Jewellers OPEIA pendant amount to a total weight of 1.69 carats. The diamonds have a colour and clarity grading of G and VS and a carat weight of 0.88 carats. The chain secures to the back of the neck with a classic lobster style clasp, accompanied by a Berry’s Signature “B”-shaped charm to match the details of one of our luxurious presentation boxes.
