Vintage late 1930s rayon crepe dress with lovely details - ruched bodice, matching bow-tie belt and graduated hem.  Flattering silhouette that drapes on the body, and a pintucked v-neck neckline.

Condition

Very good, with some minor discoloration to note.  The most notable is some yellow color bleed at the right armpit (see image).  There is also some yellowing across the back near the shoulders, and along the waistline near and including the belt (see images).

Near the belt there is a pin-point sized rust spot (see image).  Near the bust on the ruching, there is a very faint stain (see image).  Lastly, there is a very faint water stain on the edge of the left sleeve (see image).  These flaws can go virtually unnoticed due to the pattern.
