Meet Garnet, she is a stunning 1970s burgundy velvet dream dress. Garnet is an absolute firm fave from this years Heirlooms collection and truly is the epitome of 60s and 70s victoriana. She has a beautiful frilly cotton lace bib collar and yoke and beautiful cotton lace trims to her cuffs. She has a flattering shape with a nipped in waist and a long swooping skirt. Her colour is a rich and deep burgundy shade, which is one of the most gorgeous colours when worn. Garnet really is a true one of a kind treasure to behold, and I cannot wait to see where she is headed...

The Garnet has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. Dry Clean Only. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear, some slight discolouration to her lace which is to be expected and is barely noticeable and a small sewn up mend at the bottom of the back of her skirt, again this is barely noticeable. 

ALL vintage velvet comes with small signs of wear to the pile of the fabric. This is part of the charm.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.
