Vintage 40s Skirt Suit Beige Tan Gabardine Wool Large Collar

Striking, tailored, and dramatic skirt suit with all the glamour at the blazer which features a pointy, fold down collar, nipped waist, and button down closure at the front. Collar, sleeve cuffs and buttons are in a contrasting brown to the rest of the beige wool. There are curved princess seams at the chest and front hip sections. Interior is fully lined in a light brown, crepe de chine fabric. 
The matching skirt is high waisted and cut straight down the body. Closure is a zipper and a button at the side of waist. Kick pleat at rear.

Condition: very good with a few tiny flaws visible only if you hunt for them in direct light. Skirt bears a small, pale, dot like stain at rear bottom, near slit. Jacket has a few, light gray smudges at various sections: at lower right hip front, rear center of left sleeve, and center of back. Please see last pic for this.
