Meet Tawny, she is a truly dreamy and rare early 1970s Laura Ashley Made in Wales cotton prairie dream. Tawny is a really beautiful example of an early Laura Ashley and is also super wearable! She has a deep rusty shade, which is hard to describe. She has a beautiful scattered floral print which again, I am struggling to describe! But it is truly dreamy. She is also adorned in gorgeous cotton lace trims and has a beautiful shape with lovely sleeves with frill cuffs, a scoop neckline and an empire bodice. I adore Tawny and she really is an unusual Laura Ashley, I can't wait to see where she is headed today..

This girl would work on a few sizes due to her shape. Best fit for UK sizes 8/10 small 12, also works on a UK 6 nicely with a looser fit.

The Tawny has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. Dry clean only, DO NOT WASH. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear, like ALL early Laura Ashley pieces she has some minor signs of wear to her fabric due to the hand printing method used. The elastic in her cuffs is maybe looser than it once was, but otherwise she is in beautiful condition.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.
