Shiroebi Senbei is made using shiroebi (broad velvet shrimp), often called the “jewel of Toyama Bay,” Toyama rice “Tentakaku,” and the pure groundwater from the Tateyama Mountains. This product is a proud local creation from Hinodeya Seika, emphasizing local ingredients and craftsmanship. After many trials and refinements, it was released in 1998 and has since been loved as a specialty confection of Toyama. The savory flavor of firefly squid perfectly complements the taste of white shrimp, and the crisp texture makes it hard to stop at just one.
