Body is a dark navy blue velvet with a blue grosgrain ribbon running across the crown creating a top bow. Styled like a modified sherlock hat with a narrow side split brim on each side. Interior is finished with a bright red twill and a navy blue grosgrain ribbon.

Excellent condition. The only thing to mention is the inner ribbon has some stitch marks. The original owner had used it to adjust the hat down to a smaller size.

Inner circumference is 21 inches. Crown height is 4 1/2 inches. Measuring on the outside, side to side is 14 inches and the front brim extends 1 7/8 inches.

Label is Teen Topper designed for United Artists TV. Inc., Patty Duke *Star of the Patty Duke Show. Studios had hats designed with the star's name on the label during the 40's & 50's.
