Indications - Lateral Sole Wedge Inserts are used in the treatment of ankle instability, ankle sprain, peroneal tendon subluxation, peroneal tendonitis, partial rupture of the peroneal tendons and sinus tarsi syndrome, lateral column overload, and supination. Also indicated for medial compartment knee pain and medial compartment arthritis of the knee.

Additional Information:

Material Firmness: Please note, these are not intended to be soft, cushioning insoles as those materials would not adequately influence your walking pattern. Instead, they are firm to more effectively limit excessive supination — ‘rolling over’ the lateral edge of the shoe when you walk.

Fitting Instructions: If space allows, place on top or underneath existing shoe insoles. If space is tight, remove and replace the existing shoe insole.

Single Foot Use: If you only need or want to use these insoles under one foot, you can flip the other insole over to use in another pair of shoes or as an eventual replacement.

Stacking Option: If you need more supination control, you can stack these insoles on top of each other for greater effect.
