About HWI:

• 🔥 Hot Water Irrigation (HWI) is a rinse-out technique where hot water is poured or sprayed over a freshly dyed piece to help remove excess dye and set the color before washing.

• It’s often used after batching (letting the dye react for several hours) to:

  • Flush out loose dye particles

  • Prevent color back-staining during the first wash

  • Lock in brightness and clarity of the colors

Straight from in between Facebook & Google, we give you the "Godfather of Tiedye" Mr. Paul Kenney.  Paul is the only tiedyer that has a style of dye named after him, the "Kenney style" which is known around the dye world as some of the most EPIC dyes out there.
