Meet Olive, she is a super rare 1970s cotton mexican dream dress in a mottled tie dye green shade. This beauty is divine and is honestly the best green dress I have ever ever sourced. She has a gorgeous and extremely flattering cut, with a deep open neckline, nipped in waist, a full flowing skirt and fluted sleeves. Like all Mexican dresses of this period, she is crafted to a superior standard in the most beautiful quality cotton and is adorned in beautiful cross pintucking and super gorgeous cotton lace trims. The way these dresses are made is fascinating, with so many panels and so much beautiful fabric. I can't wait to see where Olive is heading, in all of my years selling vintage I have never came across a green Mexican dress, never mind one with a such amazing dye technique. I have seen other coloured mexican dresses sell for £200+.

This girl would work on UK sizes 6/8 small waisted 10 best.

Bust - up to 36" - this is quite flexible due to the open neckline, would work on a few inches smaller too.

Waist - 26" - 28" - this is quite flexible as the lace does have some give.

Length -  56"

The Olive has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a cool setting. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.
