This 1980s suit in peach or blush brocade is a stunner! The incredible sleeves feature gorgeous sequin and beaded flowers, with embroidered leaves and silk rosebuds. There is a large beaded bow on each shoulder, and the edges of the sleeves are scalloped and trimmed with bugel beads and sequins. This beading and sequin work reminds me of the wonderful designs found on Mary McFadden gowns. The buttons are also stunning - large pearl clusters with rhinestone flowers at the center. The jacket is fitted and fully lined. The skirt is also lined and has an invisible sipper up the back. Made by Rickie Freeman for T. J. Nites. Excellent condition. Size 8.
