This brushed gold necklace was inspired by an opulent azulejo depicting a reclining nude along the wall of a small corner lookout at the Palácio de Estói in Faro, Portugal. These azulejos, predominantly detailed in blue and white, were often created to illustrate significant cultural virtues and historical events Portuguese antiquity. Strung onto a fine twisted box chain, this smoothly curving pendant was designed to epitomize the natural shape of a woman illustrated during the Rococo period.
