The unit connects to IP networks via a single 10 Gb Ethernet interface and is fully compliant with the SMPTE‑2110 standard for uncompressed video, audio and ancillary data. This enables direct monitoring of live IP signals without the need for intermediate SDI conversion. Embedded audio is carried alongside the video and output over HDMI, allowing simple connection to displays with built‑in speakers or external audio systems. Traffic shaping, multicast support and precision synchronization via PTP ensure stable operation on managed broadcast networks.

Power flexibility is a key advantage in compact installations. The interface can be powered directly over Ethernet using PoE++, eliminating the need for a local power outlet. For standalone setups, an external 12 V DC power supply with a locking connector is included, providing secure and reliable power in mobile or fixed environments. Configuration and firmware updates are handled through a USB‑C connection, making maintenance straightforward for engineering teams. 

Support for a wide range of video standards ensures seamless integration into mixed‑format facilities. This includes interlaced and progressive HD signals as well as Ultra HD and DCI 4K formats, all output with accurate colour reproduction over HDMI.
