Magnesium  is a mineral of key importance for energy production and related metabolic processes, muscle contractions, conduction of nerve impulses and bone mineralization. It is estimated to be a necessary cofactor for approximately 300 enzymes. 

The reactions catalyzed by these enzymes include, among others, the synthesis of fatty acids and proteins and glucose metabolism. Malic acid is an important intermediate product of the Krebs cycle, which indicates that it is an important molecule in the production of cellular energy from carbohydrates. 

Magnesium Malate is a fully reacted mineral dietary supplement. Contains a minimum of 60% malic acid.

Ingredients:  Magnesium (from 1000 mg magnesium malate), calcium carbonate, cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, stearic acid (vegetable origin), magnesium salts of fatty acids (vegetable origin) and silica.

Does not contain: wheat, gluten, soy, milk, eggs, fish, shellfish or tree nuts. Vegetarian/vegan product.

Directions for use:  One tablet up to 2 times a day with meals.
