Schmelzer's All Nations was a barnstorming, baseball team established in 1912 in Kansas City. The was sponsored by Schmelzer's Arms, a manufacturer of firearms. At the time the team was formed, there was no major league baseball west of St. Louis. The nickname reflected the diverse make-up of the roster which featured blacks, Latinos, Asian, and Native American, as well as white players. Many of the black players went on to become members of the Kansas City Monarchs.
